JALON

Jalon is one of the eight villages located in Valle de Pop or Valle de Jalón. It has 3300 inhabitants. This town is only 30 minutes (by car) from the hospital and the Ifach Golf and 15 minutes from the coast.

This town offers the following services: town hall, supermarket, hairdressers, butcher’s shop, bars, restaurants, state school (junior), municipal pool, sports centre, medical centre, crèche and pubs.

AGRICULTURE:

For many years the agriculture (especially relevant raisins) was the main source of income. So nowadays there are still lots of vineyards; however tourism is now the main source of revenue. Furthermore, on Saturdays there is a flea market at the entrance of the town (in Paraje del Azud).
